Daily Money Decisions
In this post, we will be going over our everyday decisions which result in out-flow of money. First, you need to think about your daily activities starting from the time you wake up till the time you fall asleep. The box below contains a list of what your day may involve and a few money choices you may make at that time or beforehand.
I believe after going over this list, you will figure out how many things you do in a day that isn't really a necessity and how much you can save if you just start spending smart to save money. The reason you cannot really figure out your budget is that you didn't know how to count the decision that costs money. You probably finally realized that you spend more money in a day than before this. Try thinking about these few money decisions tomorrow and just see how much you would actually save.
The point is not to confuse you in your small decisions but the rule of thumb is that if you are investing a huge chunk of money then you should already know that you should put more thought into it. We can just ignore all these little decision saying “hey, its just one item.” Because ask yourself at the end of the day: How much does that actually cost me?
How often do you argue with your friends over having different views on money? Do you spend money on the same kind of activities as your friends? Everybody has different money habits, but the question that matters is how YOU want to handle your money?
Tomorrow onwards, think about your money decisions. Just try to see how much you can save in a day if you just evaluate before you spend money on something that you do not need.
